Campaign Starter Map. Version 1.0, created March 30th, 2013.

This map is intended to be used with the Bukkit Server plugin Campaign distributed at:
http://www.curse.com/server-mods/minecraft/campaign
or at:
http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/Campaign

You are free to use this map for other purposes. Know that the files in the Campaign-Files zip folder are non-executable YAML files and are intended for use with Campaign. You do not need these files to use the map which is in the world_campaign folder, so you can delete them.

=== Disclaimer ===
This mainly applies to servers

To protect you and your server, it is strongly discouraged to use this map on your main server.
This map is solely meant for a tutorial on how the plugin works.
Please install this on a private test server.

It may be simpler start up a new test server by downloading the latest version craftbukkit and Campaign, and make the
changes detailed in the installation.txt. You should also install the plugins you normally use, to check for plugin
conflictions. I, Roadkill909, am not responsible for damages to your main server, files, or server economy if you
disregard my advice and install this map or files there. The plugin Campaign should not damage your server.

=== Notice ===
This zip file should only contain folders and text files. It should not contain executable files or Malware (Please let me know immediately if it does via BukkitDev so I can take the file down). Once downloaded, extract the files and move the included "plugins" and "world_campaign" into your main test server folder. If you already have a plugins folder present, move the files inside the plugins folder into your plugins folder.

=== Enabling the world ===
If you are using an existing test server, and are using Multiverse or a similar plugin, you may need to import the world through that plugin. If you aren't using Multiverse or a similar plugin, modify the "level-name" line in your server properties file to this:

 level-name=world_campaign

=== Other Settings ===
In order for the mission to function properly you will also need to enable NPCs and door-breaking by zombies. You will need to change the following settings in your server properties file:

 difficulty=3
 spawn-npcs=true

Be sure that other plugins are not preventing mob spawns. You do not need to modify the map at any point during the mission, so Adventure mode or using a Region protection plugin is fine.

=== Using the Tutorial map ===
Boot up your server, and if installed properly the plugin and mission should load correctly. Give yourself op, or if using a permissions plugin, give yourself one of these permissions nodes:

 campaign.mission.tutorial
or
 campaign.mission.*

Once you have permission, use the command:

 /mission join tutorial

Then type

 /mission ready

You can also use /mi instead of /mission for short, if there are no conflictions. The plugin should take over after that. Be sure to read the prompt.

=== Closing remarks ===
If any portion of the tutorial mission or its installation is unclear, please do not hesitate to ask me questions about it. I'm also very open to suggestions. There should be thorough comments on how the mission functions in the /plugins/Campaign/missions/tutorial.yml file.

Feel free to modify the map or the mission settings to learn more about the plugin. After all that's what it is there for.

It is not recommended to venture more than 0.5km out into the sea from the islands. The normal minecraft world generator may take over and start causing weird results. It is recommended to use some sort of border plugin.
